ABOUT ME
I’m a filmmaker operating at the intersection of creativity, technology, and education.
storytelling and technology in digital video production. From the mountains to the classroom, I thrive on sharing knowledge, solving technical challenges, and crafting visually compelling stories.
Filmmaking
I co-founded Outdoor Studio – We Shoot Mountain Sports and Vertigo – The Original Immersive Ski Films, agencies dedicated to producing high-quality stills and films for outdoor and mountain brands. In these roles, I’ve guided projects from initial creative concept through to post-production, collaborating with some of the most inspiring athletes and brands in extreme sports, including Red Bull, Nordica, Enervit, Sofia Goggia, Dorothea Wierer, and Dominik Paris.
Technical Writing
My curiosity for the technical side of digital video led me to write extensively about cinema technology. As a Camera and Digital Cinema Technology Writer for CineD – Your Digital Cinema Tech Resource, I’ve authored over 400 articles covering cameras, lenses, and production workflows. My goal is to make complex technical concepts accessible and actionable for filmmakers and creatives around the world.
Education & Consulting
Since 2019, I’ve been teaching Video Technologies and Video Editing with Adobe Premiere Pro at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan, helping students understand the fundamental principles behind digital imagery and editing workflows. Beyond the classroom, I consult with professionals and companies, sharing insights into camera systems, production techniques, and post-production processes to elevate their creative output.
Whether I’m capturing action on the slopes, writing a deep dive on the latest camera tech, or guiding students through the intricacies of digital video, I’m driven by a single goal: to combine creativity and technology to tell compelling stories and empower others to do the same.
